The enduring friendship between Galeria Aniela and the

Boyd family has been a defining force in our

close relationship with
Arthur Boyd
began in 1995, and his monumental legacy remains a focal
point of the Australian art world. It has been a true
privilege to nurture this friendship and host numerous
exhibitions of the Boyd family’s profound work.

Arthur Boyd

His Family
Galeria Aniela Fine Art
Gallery
and Sculpture Park had the distinct privilege of hosting the landmark
‘Best of Boyd’ exhibition. The monumental showcase
comprised 80 paintings and 40 bronze sculptures. The
event was officially opened by
Cameron O’Reilly, the
Deputy Chairman of the
National Gallery of
Australia.
For
the first time, six members of the artistic dynasty—Arthur
Boyd,
Guy Boyd,
David Boyd,
Jamie Boyd,
Lenore Boyd
along with
Tessa Perceval—exhibited
together under one roof.
This historic event garnered
major national attention, featuring on ABC TV’s
Australian National
News and
Sunday Afternoon—a
major media coup that secured an unprecedented front
page on
the Sydney
Morning Herald—a
historic first for any commercial fine art gallery in
Australia.
