Kangaroo Valley is one of the natural wonders of the World and the top 10 holiday destination in Australia, only 2 hours drive from Sydney or Canberra. The area Kangaroo Valley (on the Shoalhaven River) is accredited to Arthur Boyd, one of Australia’s most important artists (the distinguished Boyd family) and Bundanon is nearby, now open to the pubic every weekend. In 1993 Arthur and Yvonne Boyd make a gift of the Bundanon properties and his art collections to Australia, a unique cultural and environmental asset. The gift was borne out of Arthur Boyd's often stated belief that 'you can't own a landscape' and the deeply felt wish that others might also draw inspiration from Bundanon.


 

Giving Back
Every time you purchase an artwork at Galeria Aniela we contribute a portion of our commissions, in cash and in kind, back to the artists. Also a portion of our sales is earmarked for contributions of the social oriented programs including Artists in Residence, WWOOF Volunteers and Students Experience. The programs are designed to balance the gallery commitments with the needs of the volunteers. Volunteering is fun and a great way to learn new, and an opportunity to be involved in the gallery and Sculpture Park. Volunteers make positive contribution to Australian culture particularly in rural areas.
