Louis Auguste Moreau, Paris, 1855-1919. Specialized in
allegorical and classical groups, busts of contemporaries and statuettes of
historic personalities. He was a student of his father, Mathurin Moreau, Aime
Millet, A. Dumont and J. Thomas. He exhibited at the Salon, winning a 3rd class
medal in 1877 and a bronze medal at the Exposition Universalle of 1900. |
