Fine art is one of the most enjoyable and viable investments, and i recognized a tangible and trustworthy asset, with a proven track record, and an excellent potential for brilliant growth.

Collecting authentic works of art is an alternative strategy investment and excellent less volatile diversification to an old-style investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and property. Art collections can provide strong income streams in addition to potential long term capital growth. An astutely bought work of art increases value significantly over time, and is progressive long term, solid store of wealth.

We combine the knowledge of art and financial expertise and happy to share our secrets and offer hints regarding key elements that are essential in affecting an artwork value. We advice to worldwide base collectors on modern Australian art investment opportunities and solutions.

Our people focus approach ensures that everyone has an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Whether you are a first time buyer, an enthusiastic collector or a strategic investor we are committed to provide you with friendly assistance according to aesthetic objective, we offer the opportunity to build wealth and be actively involved in Australia's visual culture.

International Art Highest prices paid

This is a list of the highest known prices paid for paintings. The earliest sale on the list (Vase with Fifteen Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh) is from 1987 and more than tripled the previous record price, set only two years before, introducing a new era in top picture prices. The sale was also significant in that for the first time a "modern" painting (in this case from 1888) became the record holder, as opposed to the old master paintings which had always previously held it. Since that time sales of the most valuable paintings have usually been made at auctions, though that had by no means always been the case before, and the list below still shows some "private sales", including the five most expensive. The current record price was paid for The Card Players by Paul Cézanne, which was sold for more than $250 million in 2011.

The provenance is paramount. Living artists price their own creations individually by the merit. Artworks of late artists are traded at individual prices in the prevailing art collector’s opinion's. The value placed on artworks by the art market will differ from the critical value placed on the same work. Art history has the essential role of supplying attribution, establishing opinion and authenticating what is offered on the market.

Individual works of art are traded at individual price. Too great preoccupation with the price can be counter-productive. Searching for a bargain clouds clear judgment and expose a collector to unscrupulous sellers and not genuine art. The provenance is paramount. An astute knowledgeable collector, with sharp eyes earns the price, as any art-collector who anticipates and buys what he loves. Follow your heart and search out the one you love of the artist you admire and the best one you can afford. Prices fluctuate and vary from item to item, as the quality, provenance and other seemingly unrelated elements can affect the value, and alter price by significant factor.
